# Generation From Chat

AI chat can launch generation when the selected model and surface policy allow it.

The flow is:

1. AI requests a generation quote.
2. Gessa shows the quote and affected resource preview in the transcript.
3. You approve, deny, or modify the request.
4. The generation job runs.
5. The completed asset link appears in the conversation.

Generation started from AI chat uses the same approval, billing, audit, and history model as other AI tools.
