# Presence

In a shared project, active collaborators appear in the workbench presence bar with deterministic colors and status.

Presence can show selected entities, active editors, editing fields, cursors,
camera/viewport state, Prefab Mode locks, active uploads, and last-seen state.
Selection outlines and camera/follow affordances are advisory; they help
collaborators coordinate without locking ordinary edits.

Prefab Mode shows when someone else is editing a prefab. A collaborator can also
use Lock Prefab during a major refactor; this is visible to everyone but still
advisory.

Uploads show as shared progress while a collaborator reserves, uploads,
finalizes, validates, completes, or fails an asset upload.

Private AI prompts do not appear in shared activity. Project-visible AI runs do.
