# Live Getting Started

Live is your multiplayer server dashboard. It shows whether your project is deployed, who is playing, which rooms are running, how performance looks, and what the server is costing this month.

## Open Live

1. Open a project.
2. Choose `Live` from the workspace navigation.
3. Start on `Server`, the primary view for your multiplayer server.

## First Deployment

If the project has no deployment, Live shows `Your free multiplayer server is ready`.

Use `Deploy this project` or `Deploy and start playing` to publish a playable deployment. The deployment uses the current project build and the default runtime policy for your plan.

After deployment, Live shows:

- Server status and server type.
- The playable deployment URL.
- Current players and rooms.
- Included usage for players, rooms, monthly play time, and bandwidth.
- Recent activity.

## First Player

When the first player joins, Live shows a first-player moment. That moment is driven by real Runtime player state, not a timer.

## What To Check Daily

- `Server`: health, player count, rooms, included usage.
- `Deployments`: active deployments and lifecycle state.
- `Players & rooms`: active players, bans, room operations.
- `Performance`: tick performance, RTT, throughput, regressions.
- `Replays & issues`: replay captures and anomalies.
- `Cost`: usage, forecast, and cost drivers.
