# Live Troubleshooting

## Server Needs Deployment

Deploy the project from the Server panel. If deployment fails, check the activity feed and deployment status.

## No Players

If the server is live but empty:

- Copy the deployment URL from Server.
- Open the game yourself.
- Confirm the deployment environment is correct.
- Check room creation in `Players & rooms`.

## Players Cannot Join

Check:

- Capacity card for included player or room caps.
- Ban management for matching bans.
- Anomalies for admission or reject clusters.
- Performance for backpressure.

## Server Is Slow

Open Performance and look for:

- Tick p95 or p99 spikes.
- High RTT or jitter.
- Replication backpressure.
- Command reject clusters.
- Performance regression markers.

## Stream Fallback

If Live shows polling fallback, the dashboard is still updating through HTTP. It retries the WebSocket connection automatically.

## Postgres Local Development

If local Postgres startup fails with a migration checksum error, follow `docs/dev/LOCAL_DEV_SETUP.md`. Do not edit an applied migration file to force the checksum to match.
