Today we are introducing Gessa: the first browser-native AI game engine. There is nothing to install. You open a link, describe what you want, and the engine builds it, running live in your browser on WebGPU, playable and shareable the moment it exists.

Most game engines were built for a world where you operate an editor by hand and, recently, an AI assistant helps at the margins. Gessa starts from the other end: the prompt is the primary way you author. You describe an asset, a level, a behavior, or a whole game, and the engine generates it. This is an AI-native engine, not AI bolted onto an old one, and the difference shows up immediately in how fast you get to something playable.

The whole stack, from one description

Gessa turns language into the full stack: 3D models and textures, worlds, AI-driven characters, game logic, and real multiplayer. Underneath, one intermediate representation unifies visual editing, code, and AI scripting, so a prompt, a script, and a visual edit all describe the same game.

It runs in the browser on WebGPU, with nothing to install, and supports real-time multi-user collaboration so a team can build together live.
