1. The short version

The gessa.ai website is a static site. It sets no advertising trackers and shows no ads. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested pages) are processed by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) to serve and secure the site. We also use PostHog through a first-party Gessa endpoint to understand visits, interactions, referral and campaign sources, and the journey into the Gessa app.

2. The Gessa app

Creating an account and building worlds happens at create.gessa.ai. A small first-party analytics cookie shared across gessa.ai subdomains lets PostHog recognize the same browser session as it moves from this site into the app. If you later sign in, the app may associate that earlier pseudonymous journey with your Gessa account. The app also processes account details, project data, and generation activity needed to operate the engine. It uses Cloudflare Turnstile in invisible mode to tell people from bots without showing you a puzzle; its use of data is covered by the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

3. What we collect here

PostHog receives page and route information, referral and campaign attribution, browser interaction events, a pseudonymous browser identifier, and privacy-masked session recordings. Form fields and inputs are masked; we disable replay capture of console logs, canvas pixels, network bodies, network headers, and cross-origin iframe contents. If you email us, we receive your address and message and use it to reply. We do not sell personal information.

4. Cookies

The website stores a language preference locally in your browser. PostHog stores essential pseudonymous identity and session values in a first-party cookie available to gessa.ai subdomains and stores other analytics state locally in your browser. It is not an advertising or cross-site tracking cookie. We honor the browser’s Do Not Track signal for this analytics collection.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold. Write to us and we’ll help: [email protected].
